About Operation Homefront of Texas

• Provides emergency assistance and morale boosters to our troops, E-6 and below, to the families they leave behind, and to wounded warriors when they return home.
• Focuses on military service members who have deployed to Afghanistan or Iraq (with or without injuries) or have orders to Afghanistan or Iraq and are injured during training prior to deployment or have returned from Afghanistan or Iraq with Injuries.
• Serves all branches of the military throughout the State of Texas.
• For returnees with injuries who leave the service, Operation Homefront of Texas provides assistance from point of discharge to initial receipt of VA benefits (normally for a six month period) or upon completion of the appeals process.
• TRIAD funding focuses on home modifications and repairs, and provides a variety of services, like; disaster relief; auto repair; appliance repair; food assistance; vision care; emergency financial assistance; furniture and household items; computer donations; holiday and morale programs; community events groups through private contributions.
