Golden Rainbow was founded in 1987 by a group of Las Vegas entertainers determined to improve the lives of people living with HIV/AIDS in Southern Nevada. Golden Rainbow provides affordable, secure, non-substandard housing and direct financial assistance to individuals and families living with HIV/AIDS in the area. We work in collaboration with other non-profit and public organizations in Southern Nevada. Golden Rainbow is viewed as the safety net of the HIV/AIDS community in southern Nevada. We assist with payment of unexpected expenses that often are not covered by other agencies because of funding restrictions. We assist with payment of rent, mortgages, utilities, medical co-pays, and many other expenses.
