Provides crisis stabilization and short-term residential care for individuals age 60 and over who are experiencing an emotional or mental health crisis and are have become unmanageable in their current living situation.

Signs may include:

• withdrawal from social contacts,
• loss of interest in normal activities and appearance,
• panic attacks,
• sever change in eating or sleeping habits,
• sudden change in mental status,
• suicide threats and attempts,
• sudden agitation or aggression.

Interdisciplinary team works with each patient and their family to provide individual, group and family therapy, patient and family education, medication management, physical therapy and other ancillary services as appropriate.

Referrals may come from family, physicians, concerned others as well as Adult Protective Services, involuntary commitment available.
