The Disability Action Center provides advocacy, information and referral, peer support and independent living skills training to people with disabilities and the community.

Information available on:ADA, fair housing, access issues/discrimination, Independent living issues, transportation, personal assistants, sign language interpreters, community services, coping strategies, Social Security, vocational rehab, Medicare and Medicaid, and assistive technology for people with hearing impairments.

*1 month free loans- devices that amplify sound and improve understanding of speech for: telephone, personal conversations, television, and speakers at meetings.

After 1 month clients may apply for a grant.
