Description
This program provides assistance to low income Alachua County residents including
- primary medical care and limited pharmacy services for persons not eligible for other help,
- public transportation bus pass,
- burials,
- solid waste assessment waiver,
- emergency rent and utility assistance,
- in-patient hospitalization in out-of-county hospitals under the Health Care Act,
- county share of Medicaid payment for nursing home care and in-patient hospital care.
Information, counseling, goal setting and referrals are also available.
