Description

State agency administers state and federal cash assistance, food stamp and medical insurance programs for low income individuals and families with children, individuals who are elderly or disabled, and refugees.

Elegibility:

Family has received TFA but is not currently receiving TFA;

Must file application for T-RAP within six months of leaving TFA;

Must be living in privately owned rental housing and must not already be receiving a rental subsidy;

An adult member of the household must be employed for at least 12 hours per week or an adult member must be employed and the family has income that exceeds the TFA payment standard.

Hours of operation:

M,T,F: 8:30am-4:30pm; W,Th: 8:30am-12noon (W,Th afternoons: emergencies only)

Application must be filed within six months of leaving TFA;

Client obtains a referral letter from their DSS worker;

Client fills out the pre-application form on the other side of the referral letter;

Client then mails the completed application to John D Amelia and Associates.
