The Alabama Disabilities Advocacy Program (ADAP) is the federally mandated statewide Protection and Advocacy Agency,

The four programs are:

  1. PADD- Protection and Advocacy for persons with Developmental Disabilities
  2. PAIMI- Protection and Advocacy for Individuals with Mental Illness
  3. PAIR- Protection and Advocacy for Individual Rights
  4. PAAT- Protection and Advocacy for Assistive Technology
  5. PABSS-Protection and Advocacy for Beneficiaries of Social Security
  6. TBIPA-Traumatic Brain Injury Protection and Advocacy
  7. PAVA-Protection and Advocacy for Voter Accessibility
