Description
Provides services to seniors 60 years or older and/or their caregivers in the 11 rural counties surrounding Bexar County.
Direct services include
- information,
- referral and assistance,
- benefits counseling,
- advocacy,
- care coordination,
- caregiver support, and assisted living and nursing home ombudsman services.
The Alamo Area Agency on Aging contracts with other community agencies to provide transportation, congregate and home delivered meals, and legal services.
