Description

Provides low income families and seniors with emergency support. This includes shelter, food, rent assistance. The Community Emergency Assistance Program, MISSION: CEAP is a community based, non-profit agency that partners with other resources to assist people in need. The agency provides emergency support and facilitates personal skill building and self-sufficiency while enhancing self-esteem. CEAP accomplishes this in a caring and respectful manner, with an overall objective of building a stronger community. (CEAP) is an independent source of information referral and help to low-income families and seniors in the community. CEAP was founded in 1970 to meet the needs of the community that were not being met. Because the families that CEAP serves are predominately low income, we do not charge for our services. Donations by the families served are small in nature and tend to take the form of volunteer service.
