IOWA PROTECTION AND ADVOCACY SERVICES, INC is an independent, non-profit agency not affiliated with any government entity or service provider.

Iowa Protection and Advocacy is federally funded, as part of the nation-wide protection and advocacy system created by federal law, to serve people with developmental disabilities, mental illnesses, and other disabilities.

Assistance is provided in several ways, depending on the priorities set by Iowa Protection an Advocacys Board of Directors.

Problems Iowa Protective and Advocacy may assist with include abuse, neglect, education, employment, housing, or denial of services.
