Description
Jacksonvilles Behavioral and Human Services Division offers assistance with substance abuse and mental health issues, AIDS and HIV, victims of crime, and persons in need of emergency financial assistance.
The division also oversees several state mandated functions, including burial of the indigent, Medicaid inpatient hospital and nursing home matching funds, Health Care Responsibility Act payments, the Ryan White programs and houses the Victim Service Center.
