Teche Action Clinic

Teche Action Clinic provides primary and preventive health care services to infants through adulthood. Services provided are family health care, family planning, pediatrics, WIC and dental services. They provide diagnostic services on site pharmacy and dental care. They accept private insurance, Medicaid and Medicare. Sliding fee is available for uninsured patients with proof of income. Appointments are preferred, walk-ins are accepted as long as they are willing to wait. Teche Action Clinic is accredited by the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Health Care Organizations and all physicians are Board Certified. Their medical staff consists of full time employees. Currently on staff there are 2 internal medicine physicians, 1 pediatrician, 1 family practice, 1 psychiatrist, LCSW and 1 physician assistant. Staff totals 40 employees. They also conduct Medicaid eligibility interviews on site and offer dental services provided by 1 full time dentist.
