Based on medical diagnoses and cost to family of medications/doctors appointments & a variety of factors. Vital Records: Birth and death certificates fo those born in/died in Floyd County only. Environmental Health: Inspection of restaurants, certificates for septic tanks, inspection of public swimming pools. Track West Nile and rabies and pick-up,ship infected species to state lab. Dental Clinic: Services for children ages 3-18 is the priority, but will work in all ages. Sliding scale fees based on income. Medicaid, Peachcare and private insurance accepted. Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm, Moday - Wednesday; 8:00 am - 6:30 pm Thursday; 8:00 am - 1:00 pm Friday. Tuberculosis program Women's Health Medicaid Program-a program whereby an uninsured, under-insured, low income woman who has been diagnosed with breast or cervical cancer may be eligible for full coverage Medicaid. Georgia Cancer State Aid Program-funds diagnosis and treatment for medically needy cancer patients. Applicants must be uninsured, underinsured and not eligible for full coverage Medicaid; must meet medical eligibility requirements and financial guidelines. ..
